Acrylic or vinyl awning?

My question is which is the better material for a replacement awning, vinyl or acrylic. Mine split above the awning cradle support in the middle of the awning on the outer layer for about 4 inches, I have temporarily repaired with awning tape.

RE: Your VB must-do list

We go every year and love the area, strongly suggest the aquarium it is great, and worth the price of admission, also park at the end of the runway at the Naval Station and watch the jets land at sunset, great fishing off the piers, and highly second the beach and State Park at Sandbridge. Take a harbour cruise and see the taxdollars at work in the Navy, also see the Battleship at Norfolk Harbour, also the Air Force ans Aerospace museum at Hamton Roads kids big and small will love it.

RE: Gettysburg, Pa - recommendations

We live in the lancaster area and travel to the area a lot, and our favorite is the Gettysburg CG it is quiet and secluded with a nice size stream running through it, level and inexpensive, close to everything and trout in it in spring. Do the battlefield in spring or fall on bike as in summer it is very hot. Drummerboy our old favorite is now too expensive and "corporate" now, the old family owners are sorely missed, too big for its own good.

Smoky Mountains

Travelling to the Smoky Mountains National Park in July, want to see the area, my question is as follows. Is it better to use North Carolina or Tennesse as a base to see attractions ? Which town is best to camp in, smaller and peaceful sites best.
